Food assistance is available to JSCC students and our community. The on-campus Food Pantry is open Monday - Friday and provides perishable and non-perishable food and personal hygiene items.

Show your JSCC Pride! In 2019, Jefferson State became the first community college in the state of Alabama to be issued a distinctive car tag. For each license plate issued for $50.00, $48.75 is returned to Jefferson State Community College Foundation, Inc.

Jefferson State Community College successfully meets the needs of students from a cross-section of ages, incomes and educational backgrounds while responding to regional employers in four counties. Enrollment generally consists of 60% first-generation college students, many coming from underprivileged backgrounds. We are focused on providing these students specialized career path counseling, mentoring and additional resources.

Jefferson State’s Regions Student Success Center empowers students by providing access to mental health counseling, financial counseling, and more to provide every student academic and personal support.
